UNESCO Chair INWEB's coordinator participated at a workshop, organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Council for Western Asia (ESCWA), which aimed to contribute to building the capacity of the technical staff, decision makers and scientists/researchers involved in the development/management of shared water resources in the Mediterranean region. It was specifically aimed at enhancing their knowledge on policy framework for supporting the establishment of mechanisms for inter-state cooperation on shared groundwater aquifers.
