UNESCO 60 Years Contribution to Education, Science and Culture, 19 May 2006

This celebratory event was held at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and was attended by over 100 participants from Greece and Cyprus. Its main objective was to look back over UNESCO’s history, with particular reference to the role and work of the UNESCO Chairs. An exhibition of UNESCO posters from the last 60 years was held in parallel.
