Water Related Advanced Training and Education for Regional Needs in Maghreb. Apr 2011 Print

UNESCO INWEB's General Secretary, Dr. Charalampos Skoulikaris, will give a presentation entitled "INWEB -Water resources data base in North Africa" at the TEMPUS project meeting to be held in Rabat from 14th-15th April for the establishment of the Regional WATER centre at EMI-UM5A, Rabat. This project aims to assess, develop and upgrade curricula that will provide engineers, post-graduate students and professionals with in-depth knowledge that will allow them to meet and follow up the new regional water resouces polices and master plans of the Maghreb governements, and achieve a holistic approach to sustainable development of water resources in Maghreb.  The project will also create a regional and national traning and teaching centre in water technologies.
