The university network Hydrocrites, associated with the University of Patra, Greece, aims to carry out interdisciplinary research projects that contribute to the promotion of science and provide comprehensive academic information in the field of energy and the environment, with particular emphasis being placed on water resources.  The network is organizing a workshop on “The Rational Management of Catchment Areas for the Sustainable Development of Western Greece” in Patra on Saturday 12^th June 2010 at which UNESCO Chair INWEB will be presenting its work.
